PURPOSE: A rear suspension of a vehicle is provided to effectively absorb shock and vibration by installing a shock-absorbing device to the rear of a fuel tank, and absorbing shock given to the fuel tank in a rear collision and transmitting the shock from the ground to the shock-absorbing device via a motion conversion device. CONSTITUTION: A rear suspension of a vehicle comprises a knuckle(12) installed to a wheel(11); a lower arm(13) one side of which is connected to the knuckle and the other side is connected to a cross member; a hinge part(14) of the lower arm to which the lower arm and the cross member are hingably combined; a motion conversion device converting and transmitting the rotary motion of the lower arm rotating around the hinge part of the lower arm into a longitudinal rectilinear motion of a vehicle body, in bound or rebound; a fuel tank(140) installed in front of the cross member; and a shock-absorbing member(130) installed between the motion conversion device and the fuel tank, to absorb the shock of the rear or ground.
