<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process image data which are picked up with an image pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: An image which is picked up with a digital camera 100 is directly transferred to a printer 200 through a USB (universal serial bus) cable 20, and the printer 200 prints the image. The digital camera 100 is provided with an image pickup part which picks up the image and outputs image data, a processing part which processes image data, and an output part which outputs image data processed by the processing part to the printer. The processing part has a conversion part which converts image data into image data of a system which can be directly used for printing.
