摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material having a low cost, excellent conductivity, and high corrosion resistance, its manufacturing method, and a fuel cell having excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: This composite material has a structure wherein a coat 3 comprising conductive graphite is formed directly on the surface of a metallic substrate 20. Such material can be manufactured by forcibly transferring the graphite 60 blown off by spattering to the metallic substrate 2 by the flow 50 of an inactive gas and by making it adhere to the surface of the substrate.
