<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a reference procedure on searching, to easily conduct an input operation according to a presentation of guidance, and to relieve an operator from a learning load of input. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with an image and various characteristics of a searching target, an input method for search associated with the various characteristics, a database which previously stores a guidance presented to the operator in response to the input method, a database analysis means which determines the input method in a descending order of accuracy of the input of the operator for the input image and sets it as a reference procedure, a guidance output means which extracts the guidance corresponding to the input method according to the reference procedure, a similarity calculation means which calculates similarity of the searching target based on the input data according to the guidance, and a candidate enumeration means which extracts and enumerates the result of the search in a descending order of similarity among the similarities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
