<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking method which avoids locking in a too much hurry and also leaving a vehicle unlocked. <P>SOLUTION: In a re-locking method for a vehicle equipped with a keyless entry system which, by a communicating means to check a position of a badge toward the vehicle by an electromagnetic signal between the vehicle and the badge, locks a door when the last door of the vehicle is shut and the badge is deviated from a first zone designated around the vehicle, a second zone wider than the first zone is defined around the vehicle. As long as the badge is located in the second zone after a command for locking by the keyless entry system is issued, the door can be opened without an operation by the keyless entry system.
