<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of preventing occurrence of a failure in circuit operation of a card interface circuit or the like when a card module is not installed in a card slot having an inversely inserting connecting terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A card slot 10 comprises an attachable and detachable card module. The slot 10 has an inversely inserting connecting terminal 13B, a connecting terminal 13A, and an insulator 30 for preventing a short circuit between the connecting terminals.
