PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a generator-motor which can reduce the manufacture cost as compared with the case of molding an insulating layer. SOLUTION: In the stator where wiring 38 is arranged to pass slots made between adjacent teeth in the stator body 12 where teeth are made apart in circumferential direction and also the coil end 44, projected from the end face 42 of the stator body 12, of the winding 38 is brought down in the diametrical direction of the stator body 12 by press molding, a tubular insulating material 43 is caught with the coil end 44 and the end face 42 of the stator body 12 when bringing down the coil end 44.
