PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high resolution frame where the deterioration of image quality is reduced regardless of the movement of an object included in the frame at the time of acquiring one high resolution frame from a plurality of frames sampled from moving image data. SOLUTION: Patches divided into one or more rectangular areas are arranged in a plurality of frames FrN and FrN+1, and the patches are moved and/or deformed so that the corresponding relation of each frame can be estimated, and the frame FrN+1 is coordinate transformed based on the estimated corresponding relation, and the correlation value of that and the frame FrN is calculated. The correlation value is compared with a threshold, and the number of divisions is increased until the correlation value is turned to be a threshold or less, and the correlation value is calculated in the same way. Then, a compounded frame FrG is prepared from the frame FrN and FrN+1 based on the corresponding relation estimated from the number of divisions from which the correlation value which is turned to be the threshold or less is calculated.
