PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating and warming apparatus for selling Oden (Japanese hotchpotch), which is relatively readily manufactured, accurately detects the temperature in a pot even if broth is spilt from the container during use, is easily cleaned, and the consumable parts of which are easily replaced. SOLUTION: In the heating and warming apparatus, a heating means is composed of an electromagnetic induction heating coil 7, and a top plate 9 is detachably provided with a resin cover 5. Therefore, even if the broth is spilt from the pot 1 during use, the top plate 9 is kept clean and the solidified broth does not affect the operation of a temperature detection means 12 to accurately detect the temperature of the pot 1.
