PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor drive controlling system that makes it possible to grasp a state under control and a current position in a series of control sequences without preparing a measuring instrument. SOLUTION: This stepping motor drive controlling system comprises of a driver 5 that drives a stepping motor, a motor controlling device 2a provided with a controller 6a that controls the drive by the driver 5, and a host computer 1 that, connected to the motor controlling device 2a, edits sequence data on which the controller 6a performs the control and transfers the sequence data to the motor controlling device 2a. In this system, a state display generating portion 27, a display controlling portion 28, and a display panel 29 are provided on the motor controlling device 2a as a state displaying means that displays the driving state of the stepping motor 7.
