PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for vehicle with which the driver of a vehicle can easily grasp the direction to be advanced when two-branch intersections continuously exist within a short distance. SOLUTION: The navigation system for vehicle searches the route from a starting point to a destination and guides the driver along the searched route. The system is provided with a three-branch guiding means 8 which discriminates continuous two-branch guide points of the guide points stored in a guide point storing means 7 as one three-branch guide point and the guiding direction used at the time of guiding the three-branch guide point and guides the driver as one three-branch guide point from a guiding means 12.
