PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a spot diameter adjustment process and to reduce color smearing in in-line colors. SOLUTION: A wavelength is measured at assembling of a laser unit and a wavelength information (information with which the wavelength is identified) is described on a seal 33 which is stuck on the laser unit. The fixing position of a cylindrical lens 12 is engraved on an optical box 11 so as to primarily arrange according to the identification information. A desired spot diameter is available by fixing the cylindrical lens 12 at a designated position. Further, a magnification color aberration caused by a wavelength difference is reduced in an in-line color machine because the respective wavelengths of scanning optical devices for four colors are unified according to the wavelength information stuck on the laser unit.
