PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the outer surface of a roll when put on a receptacle table and prevent damage to the outer surface of a roll core when stripping out the roll core put on the receptacle table in the axial direction. SOLUTION: When the roll 20 of a band thin plate material is placed on the receptacle table 16, contact pressure reducing members 24 provided on receptacle surfaces 18A, 18B of the receptacle table 16 are elastically deformed to increase their contact surfaces, reducing contact pressure given by the roll 20 and preventing damage to the roll 20 of the band thin plate material when supported. When the roll core 22 placed on the receptacle table 16 is stripped out in the axial direction, the surface of the roll core 22 smoothly slides on friction reducing members 26 with small friction resistance, therefore preventing damage to the surface of the roll core 22.
