An image pickup device requiring comparatively little cost and manufacturing complexity and capable of easily performing focus adjustment with a high accuracy and a mobile terminal device using the image pickup device. The image pickup device (100) includes a mirror frame (3), a cover member (3d) attached to the mirror frame (3) in such a manner that it can move along the optical axis (Y), a first pressing member (6) elastically arranged between the cover member (3d) and an optical member (1) so as to press the optical member (1) toward a substrate, and a second pressing member (7) elastically arranged between the mirror frame (3) and the optical member (1) so as to press the optical member (1) toward the cover member (3d).
