<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a computer program capable of informing a user about a battery residual capacity in a proper form in response to a present operating state and recognizing a usable time and a speech available time in response to the operating state. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal detects the battery residual capacity and informs the user about it depending on a plurality of kinds of notice forms and selects a notice form (image display and audio) depending on the present operating state of the mobile terminal.
