<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring structure that prevents erroneous connection when functional units are electrically connected to a circuit board, allows the shortest distances in the connections, and eliminates the need for troublesome waveform adjustment required for each functional unit, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A distance D<SB>1</SB>between adjacent receiving connectors (e.g., 312c and 312d) is set substantially the same as a distance D<SB>0</SB>between the adjacent functional units (e.g., 227c and 227d).
