<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which displays a stereoscopic image with a preferable three-dimensional effect as a display of new design. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with: a liquid crystal panel 2 having a liquid crystal sealed in the space between a pair of transparent substrates 3a, 3b; a negative display region 10 for negative display and a positive display region 9 for positive display, both formed to divide the plane of the liquid crystal display panel 2; a light-shielding film 5 having an aperture 7 of display signs patterned therein and arranged in the negative display region 10; and a stereoscopic sheet 18 having light transmitting property and arranged in the positive display region 9 in the back side of the liquid crystal display panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
