摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide picking facility capable of replenishing a storage vessel in real time without requiring a sensor for detecting that the storage vessel is taken out. <P>SOLUTION: This picking facility picks an article from a division storage space 5 of a picking shelf 3 in accordance with instruction displayed on a monitor 39 of a moving vehicle 1 and puts the article into a collection vessel 34 of the moving vehicle 1 by moving the moving vehicle 1 along the picking shelf 3 by a picking worker. Amount of articles in stock in the storage vessel 4 at the head in each division storage space 5 is updated every time picking of series composed of a plurality of division storage spaces 5 ends. When it is determined that the amount of articles in stock in the storage vessel 4 is zero, storage vessel 4 is replenished into the division storage space 5 by an unmanned conveyance vehicle. Consequently, the storage vessel 4 can be automatically replenished on real time without requiring the sensor and delay in replenishment is eliminated to perform picking work without causing a defective article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
