<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly flexible device production system by using high-functioned network interface that peripheral devices have and network services in a production process. <P>SOLUTION: The device production system, in which assembly, inspection and adjustment are performed according to a specified procedure and a desired device 2 is created, has a DHCP server 7 to dynamically assign an IP address responding to a request from the device 2 connected with a network 6 in a process, and a program server 8, which has a storage device stored with inspection and adjustment programs for the device 2. The device 2 is built in with a ROM 4 stored with starting programs to judge whether the device 2 is present in the process by checking data in a non-volatile RAM 5 when the device 2 is started, and to mount a specified directory of the program server 8 if the device 2 is in the process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
