<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and economical desulfurization method for removing hydrogen sulfide from a gas by utilizing a waste heat and a waste, or a method for using a product obtained by the same method as a drainage purification agent. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas desulfurization method or a drainage purification method utilizes an iron oxide as an exhaust gas desulfurizing agent which is obtained by manufacturing an iron-containing solution by performing an acid treatment on an iron waste containing one, two or more of dust, sludge and scale all containing iron, burning the iron-containing solution thus obtained after hydrolyzing the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
