<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a luminance changing characteristic of a light emitting diode (LED) approximate to the luminance changing characteristic of an electric bulb, in a control circuit of the LED. <P>SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a turning-on circuit 10 and a turning-out circuit 20 for generating a pulse signal subjected to pulse width modulation by changing a duty ratio and the period in accordance with an inputted signal, and supplies a current in response to the pulse signal to the LED. Since the turning-on circuit 10 and the turning-out circuit 20 change the duty ratio and the period of the pulse signal, the luminance changing characteristic of the LED becomes nonlinear and can be made to approximate to the luminance changing characteristic of an electric bulb. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
