A flexible, transparent, dental adhesive strip (10) having a dental adhesive (12) uniformly coated onto one side of the strip for use during dental procedures. The strip is adhered to a tooth under repair to retain and shape a restorative material used to fill a void or cavity in the tooth. The strip may also be adhered to a tooth adjacent to a tooth under repair to provide protection against contact with materials used during the procedure on the tooth under repair.
