PURPOSE: An image storing/reproducing apparatus capable of correcting file names of stored audio and/or video files, and a method for correcting file names are provided to easily correct file names of audio and/or video files into file names wanted by a user. CONSTITUTION: An image recording/reproducing apparatus stores image data in audio and/or video files in a memory unit, and reproduces the stored image data. A first storage unit stores a virtual input menu(800) which is an element for correcting file names. A main control unit displays file names corresponding to the stored audio and/or video files and file related information by a picture display signal, and selects any one file among the audio and/or video files. If a file correction command is inputted on the selected file, the main control unit displays the virtual input menu. If a corrected file name is inputted through the virtual input menu, the main control unit controls to correct the file name of the stored file. |
