<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cumulative amount trade mediating method by which cumulating work is efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: A cumulative amount trade mediating server 1 (hereinafter called a mediating server 1) receives a plurality of pieces of cumulative amount information from a plurality of sale terminals 8 via an electric communication line 6, and preserves them in a file database 55. When purchase desire information is received from a purchase terminal 7, the mediating server 1 searches whether the desired piece of cumulative amount information exists in the file database 55 or not, based on the received purchase desire information. When the desired cumulative amount information does not exist, the mediating server 1 performs retrieval whenever the new piece of cumulative amount information is preserved in the file database 55.
