<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling recessed air conditioner allowing drain pan mounting/dismounting operation time to be shortened and allowing easy maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: This ceiling recessed air conditioner comprises a cabinet 2 stored in a ceiling, a heat exchanger installed in a cabinet 2, a drain pan 9 installed below the heat exchanger 6 in the cabinet 2 and receiving drops of dew from the heat exchanger 6, a lockingly receiving part 11 formed on the cabinet 2 around the drain pan 9, and a locking part 12 formed integrally with a resin member forming at least a part of the drain pan 9 and detachably locked to the lockingly receiving part 11 by the elastic deformation of the resin member.
