POWER LINE CARRIER COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line carrier communication system capable of coping with large-scale multiple dwelling houses the number of which will be increased in future. SOLUTION: In the power line carrier communication system, an analog high frequency signal superimposed on a power line (12) is transmitted / received between a master unit (2) installed at a downstream of a distribution transformer (1) and slave units (4-n) each connected to each house, a plurality of relaying apparatuses (3-n) are located between the master unit (2) and a plurality of the slave units (4-n) to attain communication without a problem even when the number of branches is large and the distance between the master unit and the slave units is long. The power line carrier communication system can build up a high speed large capacity communication system in the large-scale multiple dwelling houses the number of which is expected to further increase.
