PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a designing method for semiconductor device provided with a buffer chain which does not change duty ratios of signals even if the processes are fluctuated in the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor device which is provided with the buffer chain formed by connecting in series a plurality of buffers, the drive capability of each buffer is set in accordance with an external load to be driven by each buffer so that a delay time of each buffer forming the buffer chain becomes equal.
