PAPER SHEET DISCRIMINATION DEVICE, AND VIRTUAL FRAME GENERATION METHOD FOR PAPER SHEETS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet discrimination device for detecting transparent image signals of conveted paper sheets by a light receiving sensor and generating a medium virtual frame without being affected by deficit or breakage from adjacent main scanning edge information. SOLUTION: This paper sheet discrimination device is provided with: a conveyer device for conveying the paper sheets 2; an optical detecting device 20 for detecting the paper sheets 2 conveyed by the conveyer device with transparent lights; and an image processing means 30 for performing the arithmetic processing of the output signal of the optical detecting device 20.
