PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display for securing a visual range by waiting a display part out of the visual range when not using the display part. SOLUTION: Fig. (a) shows extending a display arm 3, and the display part 4 is positioned before a left eye. The edge part of the display arm 3 and the display part 4 are connected so that the display part 4 is rotatable (not shown). The display part 4 is turned to be positioned so as to be parallel to the edge part of the display arm 3 when the display part 4 is waited out of the visual range from a position as shown in (a). Thereafter, the display part 4 is positioned sideward of a head part to be waited out of the visual range as shown in (b) by contracting a pantograph structure of the display arm 3.
