PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic powder coating material which can be easily produced by a dry blending method, can be desirably used in metallic coating, and can give a metallic coating film having qualities (metallic feeling, hiding power, and freeness from surface irregularities) equivalent to those of a coating film obtained from a solvent-based metallic coating material. SOLUTION: The metallic powder coating material is prepared by dry-blending at least resin particles, metallic particles, and a higher fatty acid.
