PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove ionic contaminants containing radioactive nuclides through the ion exchange for radioactive contaminated water and substantially decrease the volume of discarded ion exchange resin. SOLUTION: A means 4 for additionally introducing ion exchange resin is placed above a treatment tank 3 accommodating an ion exchange resin 2, a circulation system 6 which allows the radioactive contaminated water 5 to circulate to the treatment tank 3 is provided, an inlet-side water quality measurement means 9 and an outlet-side water quality measurement means 10 which can directly or indirectly measure the concentration of the radioactive nuclides are laid out on an inlet side 7 and an outlet side 8 respectively of the treatment tank 3 in the circulation system 6 and a means 11 for measuring the flow rate of the circulating water is also set up.
