PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection device for atomizing a spray even when starting spraying. SOLUTION: Six swirl holes 106 are formed by passing through a peripheral wall of a valve body 20 and linearly extending in the direction orthogonal to a valve axial line 200 of a needle 30 from an axial position where an annular passage 104 is formed. The outlet of the swirl hole 106 is opened to a swirl chamber 108. The swirl chamber 108 is an annular space surrounded by a slide part 32 of the needle 30, a non-slide part 34 and an inner peripheral wall 22 on the upstream side of a valve seat 24. The slide part 32 of the needle 30 is formed in a cylindrical shape and supported on a supporting part 28 of the valve body 20 so as to be reciprocatingly movable. The downstream side bottom 33 of the slide part 32 is disposed along the swirl hole 106 so as to be orthogonal to the valve axial line 200. The downstream side bottom 33 matches with the upstream end of the outlet opening peripheral edge of the swirl hole 106. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
