SUCTION NOZZLE AND VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction nozzle that permits an unerring engagement of a cleaner body with a suction nozzle body in an erect state and an easy assembly of an engaging mechanism into the suction nozzle body. SOLUTION: A connecting pipe 36 is longitudinally movably attached to the suction nozzle body 5 through a rotary tube 37, a circuit board 34 is provided in one side of the horizontal direction of the suction nozzle body 5 and a motor 30 is attached to the other side and a lead wire 41 is arranged in a circuit board 34 from the opening portion 37a of the rotary tube 37. The suction nozzle 40 is structured by providing the engaging mechanism 43 locking the connecting pipe 36 in an erect state between the opening portion 37b and the suction nozzle body 5 on the side opposite to the side where the lead wire 41 of the rotary pipe 37 is arranged.
