Motor vehicle bodywork (4) has a bottom section (26) above which, on both sides of the bodywork, at least a force input point (9) is provided. The input point is used to input a counter force (Fg) or a counter torque to balance the effects of bending or torsion deformation occurring in a direction (x) along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The applied counter torque or force is controlled using a regulation arrangement (17).
