<p>A high-pressure process and assembly are used to clean remote water drainage and collection installations in the vicinity of railway tracks e.g. in tunnels, railway stations and inter-settlement track sections. The necessary equipment is fitted within one or more railway wagons and consists of high-pressure scouring equipment, suction pumps, water filtration and treatment assemblies, and discharge pumps. The installation is of modular construction in which solid residues are removed in a multi-stage process in which a prior art rail track maintenance system is coupled to a rail-mounted drainage channel scouring system.</p> |
