<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate and its material excelling in printability, in particular initial printing performance and print wear in spite of being a processless plate without an alkali development process. <P>SOLUTION: The printing plate material comprises a support provided with a hydrophilic layer and an imaging layer laminated on it in this order is characterized in that the hydrophilic layer is a fine-grained porous layer and that the peak pore size in pore size distribution curve on this fine-grained porous layer is 0.005 μm or more, 1.000 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
