PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of patterning defect such as disconnection due to light reflection and collection caused by a reflection layer formed below a transparent conductive film when patterning of the transparent conductive film is performed by a photolithography method, in a reflective liquid crystal display element.

SOLUTION: An uneven pitch of a photosensitive resin layer 5 in a non-display area is formed smaller than the uneven pitch of the photosensitive resin layer 5 in a display area and smaller than the width dimension of the minimal pull-around electrode 9b formed at a substrate 3 on the side opposite from a viewing side.
