<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having excellent bulkiness, stretchability and stretch-back property. <P>SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric is produced by interlocking staple fibers having a fiber length of 20-200 mm with a columnar stream. The fiber is a latent crimp-developing polyester fiber produced by using polytrimethylene terephthalate as at least one component.
