<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively low cost splint requiring no special labor in installation and easily applying an electric stimulus while precisely grasping the muscle contraction without restricting a posture. <P>SOLUTION: This splint 1 holds the limbs F such as the leg of a patient M comprises a mounting belt 2 for mounting it on the limb F, an electrode 4 provided inside the mounting belt 2, attached to the limbs F so as to be in contact with the muscle and feed a pulse signal for giving the electric stimulus to the limbs and a muscle penetrometer 3 attached to the limbs to be in contact with the muscle and measuring the hardness of the muscle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
