<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weld-position variations at the time of welding and fixing by improving the accuracy to detect the weld-position on a ridgeline, and to improve fixation accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a YAG laser 4 for welding weld-materials 1, 2; a He-Ne laser 6 for displaying an irradiation-position, which is so fixed that the optical axis of the beam emitted from the laser 6 nearly coincides with that of the beam emitted from the YAG laser 4; a condensing lens 8 converging the beams emitted from the YAG laser 4 and from the He-Ne laser 6 to the same point; a photodiode 12, on the surface of which an image of a returning beam 9 is formed to detect a quantity of beam; and a moving means 15 moving an optical system 14 composed of the above devices. The weld-materials 1, 2 are irradiated with the He-Ne laser 6 and a position where the beam quantity of the returning beam 9 becomes maximum is detected as a target weld-position. The optical system 14 is moved to the position detected and the weld-materials 1, 2 are irradiated with the beam from the YAG laser 4 so as to be welded and fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
