<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for imaging using reorientation of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: A medical imaging apparatus and method have a display screen 2, a processor 4 for processing data for displaying image data in a three-dimensional model format, and a user interface 6. The processor 4 acquires at least two points 10, 20 positioned in a three-dimensional model by the user interface, to estimate the position of an axis 100 determined by the two points of the three-dimensional model, and reorients the three-dimensional model so that the axis shown in such a method is seen in prescribed orientation to the plane of the display screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
