METHOD FOR THERMAL CRACKING TREATMENT AND THERMAL CRACKING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal cracking method and thermal cracking system effective for suppressing the formation of minor components in a reformed gas without giving influence on the main components of the gas by controlling the ratio of oxygen with a flame-retardant oxidizing agent in the reforming of a gas by low-oxygen combustion. SOLUTION: A gas is reformed by the low-oxygen combustion in a gas reformer 15 to obtain the reformed gas 24 composed mainly of low-molecular combustible gases. In the above method, the ratio of oxygen atom is increased by the addition of a flame-retardant oxidizing agent such as steam 20 to effectively suppress the formation of minor harmful substances in the reformed gas 24.
