PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joint packing having high airtightness in a joining part with a simple structure, rich in chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, water resistance and deterioration resistance, having high safety to food and a chemical and relatively inexpensively restraining manufacturing cost, this packing, a joint having an end surface shape adjusted to a shape of this packing, and a joint joining method using an embracing type lever clamp, having the high sealing effect and easy in use. SOLUTION: This joint packing is formed of a structure for continuously arranging an O ring part on the outer periphery of an annular plate packing part and vertically opening the O ring part by arranging a horizontal V-shaped annular groove on an outer peripheral surface of this O ring part. An end surface of the joint is formed in a shape adjusted to a shape of this joint packing, and the joint is joined by using the embracing type level clamp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
