PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location information conversion system that easily and accurately calculates the road distance of a body on a conduit buried along a road from a reference point. SOLUTION: The conduit is sectioned into a plurality of rectangular sections (polygon) (a) to (c) of specified length and the rectangular section (c) including the body 15 is found through occlusion decision processing. Then the road distance is found from the sum of road distances 11 and 12 of the rectangular sections (a) and (b) from the reference point and the road distance (m) from an end point 17 of the rectangular section (c) including the body 15 to the body.
