PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester which can ensure the visibility of an operator during a reaping work, can prevent the breakage of a light or the adhesion of waste culms, and can facilitate maintenance works. SOLUTION: This combine harvester is characterized by forming an expanded portion 40 in the rear portion of a side cover 32 attached to the side of the reaping portion of the combine harvester, forming a window 42 for a light on the front side 41 of the expanded portion 40, and disposing the light in the frame 20 of the reaping portion to face the window 42. Thereby, a blind spot due to the expanded portion 40 of the side cover 32 can be reduced to ensure the visibility of the operator. The light is disposed behind the front side 32a of the side cover 32, and the breakage of the light and the adhesion of waste culms can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
