PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing body for a vehicle excellent in shock absorbing performance preventing generation of thin-wall part causing deterioration of shock absorbing performance by blow-molding and slippage among a plurality of piled up shock absorbing bodies by constructing each thin shock absorbing body set inside of a vehicle structure member. SOLUTION: The shock absorbing body 1 for a vehicle is set inside of the vehicle structure member and absorbs shock from inside or outside. The shock absorbing body 1 for the vehicle is made of thermoplastic resin shaped as a single body by blow-molding. The shock absorbing body 1 for the vehicle is constructed by piling up a support surface 5 of one shock absorbing body 1a and a contact surface 4 of another shock absorbing body 1b. A connecting piece 11 is provided on a side surface 10 connecting the contact surface 4 and the support surface 5 of one shock absorbing body 1a.
