PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the simplification and cost reduction of an injection molding machine and to enhance the movability thereof. SOLUTION: The injection molding machine is equipped with upper mold plates 2 and 3 and lower mold plates 4 and 5 both of which form a cavity 20 corresponding to the shape of a molded product and are separable up and down, a mold clamping cylinder 50 which is arranged on the upper mold plates and moves the upper mold plates up and down with respect to the lower mold plates to clamp the upper and lower mold plates, and an injection unit 6 for injecting a molten resin in the cavity.
