PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding tip on which a ceramic cover can be fixed at the tip end part of the tip main body without developing heat stress. SOLUTION: This welding tip is provided with a copper alloy base tip body 10 having an insertion hole 12 formed in the length direction for inserting an electrode wire 31; and a ceramic cover 20 fitted on the outer part of at least tip end part 11 of this tip body 10 with a gap and having a center hole 24 continuing to the insertion hole 12. A heat resistant inorganic adhesive 30 stuck so as to have elasticity is filled up into the above gap, and the outer surface of the tip end part 11 of the tip body 10 and the inner surface of the above cover 20 are stuck with the adhesive 30.
