NOVEL GLYCOSYL TRANSFERASE WITH CONSIDERATION OF ACTIVITY EXPRESSION MECHANISM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

It is intended to provide a mechanism of designing a novel enzyme activity regulator. Paying attention to a change in the conformation of an enzyme depending on a substrate, the above problem is solved by applying the relationship between the change and catalytic activity to design of an enzyme activity controller (for example, an inhibitor). As a preferable example, a compound containing a part capable of interacting with UDP-Gal-binding site on galactose transferase and a part capable of interacting with tryptophan is provided.
