PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support calibration in the case of operating after taking awhile from chart printing to measurement.

SOLUTION: In calibration of a printer, printing conditions of chart printing for calibration is stored and calibration data are generated from measured data of the printed chart and the stored printing conditions.
